Jake Nyberg percussion
Jake was listening to Steely Dan in the womb and has been a lover of good music ever since. He has been drumming for the better part of two decades and teaching percussion for the last seven years. Also a writer, Jake tries to approach drumming with the same sense of creativity. He has played with various artists including Bill Parrish, The Nick Videen Quartet, Hektor and the Gas Giants and others.
Eric Moeckel guitar
Eric has been playing guitar for eleven years, the last five of which he spent in Chicago studying under Bobby Broom and Bob Palmieri at DePaul University. Since returning to his native Minnesota, Moeckel has continued to teach private lessons and perform with various blues, jazz and rock groups.
Adam Tucker electric and upright bass
Adam has been playing the bass since 1964, a small marvel when you realize that, in people years, he has only been alive since 1983. He cut his teeth in the early 1970's, playing with, among others, The Funk Pontiffs and Überphaser. His taut, tasty soloing is matched only by his death grip tempo and silky smooth lines. Simply put, on the upright bass, Adam Tucker is a man among boys.
The New Mercury Trio is available for your restaurant, pub, wedding reception, private party, corporate event...
